About me :

Hello, I’m Elijah but I prefer to be called EJ. I am also a full time apprentice at Sundance bakehouse. My shift starts at 10pm-5:30am, so the pies and bread are baked and cooled just in time for opening hours which are 6am - 7:30pm.

 

Sundance Bakehouse :

On the outside it's an old town country like shop and on the inside it’s a cozy old town vibe.

 

We mainly do pies and pastries, but we do sell bread and desserts. We also can do private orders such as birthday/event cakes, desserts, bread, and pies in bulk if asked for, paid for, and approved by both the boss and the head baker. (Chris Brown and Blair Holmes) And if you'd like a nice coffee, a cold slushie, or a milkshake/thickshake Sundance is the place to go!

 

Jindabyne is a rural town in the country and Sundance has been open for several decades, by being passed down by many other different bakers. Apparently there have been at least 80 previous bakers at Sundance.

 

We do have three bakeries around the Monaro region such as one at Jindabyne is the one in the image and two more up on the snowy mountain for skiing/snowboarding season. Although we do have three bakeries we only bake at the one in Jindabyne, then we’d distribute it to the other bakeries that we own. ( Jindabyne is the one in the image )

 

Besides the retail store bought pies and croissants, Sundance pies and croissants are probably one of the best pastries you’d eat in the Monaro region, So if you come down one day this place is a must visit. Our Bakery is a 3.5/5 star bakehouse but the food will make up for it. If you come down to Jindabyne one day Sundance is a must go, and we hope to see you there!
