How Iran Responds to Protestors

Nowadays, many protesters are against dictators. Protests in Iran highlight the continuing tension between public dissatisfaction and state authority, as citizens respond to political limits and economic challenges under increasing government control. Over the decades, the government response has often been very strong and harsh, and it has become stronger and more intense recently.
At first, protests were sometimes controlled predominantly by police. But as demonstrations grew larger, more powerful security groups have been involved. Forces linked to the government, such as Islamic revolutionary guard corps have played a bigger role. Over time, the use of force has increased, including tear gas, bullets, and etc. This has led to more injuries, and deaths of protestors than in earlier protests, and demonstrations.
As a result, arrests have increased, and in the past, only protest leaders have been targeted. But from now on, large numbers of ordinary citizens; including students and journalists, have been detained. Reports from rights groups say prison conditions and treatment of detainees have become a growing concern.
The Internet has become stricter as well. During earlier protests, websites were blocked. In more recent years, the government has shut down, and slowed down the internet across large areas. And this makes it harder for protestors to share their information as consequences.this led to legal response has also become harsher. Courts have given out heavier punishments before, and serious charges are used more often. This has created fear and burden some people from joining protests. Accordingly, state media has increased its efforts to control the story. So, the protestors are more often described as criminals or people influenced by foreign countries.
Overall, Iran’s response to protest has grown more pressure, and severe over the decades. What started as police control has developed into a wider system like more arrests, tighter systems. In recent decades protests in Iran have shown growing tension between public dissatisfaction and state authority. Due to rising prices, unemployment, young generations especially feel frustrated, and are irritated. And still, they keep on protesting, and requesting for their freedom.
As a consequence, the situation can be vice versa, which means there’s a possibility that Iran’s leaders could face arrest by the United States government cannot be fully excluded. If International legal pressure increases, or accusations related to sanctions, terrorism, human rights violations intensify, legal actions against the Iranian government are more likely. And, this shows political power and accountability can move in both directions, depending on global influence and legal authority.
