The first Spirit Week of the 2025–26 school year will take place from October 27 to October 30, bringing a series of themed events designed to strengthen community bonds across the GIS student body. Organized by the Student Council, the week aims to foster school spirit by encouraging participation, creativity, and shared experiences among students from all grade levels.

Each day of Spirit Week will feature a different theme. Monday will open with Sports Day, inviting students to come dressed in jerseys or athletic outfits representing their favorite sport or team. Tuesday will continue with Dream Job & Role Model Day, during which students will dress as a future profession or a figure who inspires them. On Wednesday, the school will hold Character Day, allowing students to arrive as a character from literature, film, or television. The final theme on Thursday will center on the Fall Festival, highlighted by a Fall Fashion Show featuring autumn-inspired outfits.

The Fall Festival will begin after morning classes on the final day of Spirit Week, during which the school will follow a half-day schedule. Students will rotate through a series of activity booths prepared and supervised by Student Council members, including a photo booth, face-painting, board games, and basketball mini-games in the gym. A separate movie room will be available as a resting space for students waiting between rotations or those who have completed the activities. By engaging students in shared activities that extend beyond the classroom, the Student Council hopes to promote unity and strengthen school culture!
